Valentine's Day is fast approaching, which can be dreadful for someone going through a breakup. You spend the day rolling your eyes at the couples posting pictures of flowers and writing long posts bragging about their partner. If that's you, there's good news. You could earn an easy $1,100 just by listening to breakup songs.
A company called FinanceBuzz is looking for one person to spend an entire day listening to nothing but breakup songs, for which they will pay $1,100. The only qualification is that you have to actually be going through a breakup.
If you are selected, your job will be to spend 24 hours listening to some of the most iconic breakup songs and categorizing them into five playlists based on every breakup phase. The phases are the same as the five stages of grief, which include denial, anger, relapse, depression, and acceptance.
Other than still being sad over a breakup, the only qualification is that you're at least 18 years old. The deadline to apply is Jan. 31 at midnight ET. You can fill out the application here.
