Do you struggle to fall sleep? If you're like me, your brain struggles to form thoughts all day long right up until it's time to sleep, then it's full speed ahead. Good news! You can apparently fall asleep faster by simply not removing your socks before bed, according to Dr. Jess Andrade on Tik Tok. Here's her explanation:

In this new video, she says "Wearing socks makes your feet warm, and this opens up the blood vessels that cools the body down. The body being cool tells the brain that it's time for bed. So actually, people that wear socks tend to fall asleep faster."

That simple, huh? I never have slept with socks on, mostly because it's uncomfortable, but also because my dad told me when I was young that if I slept with socks on that my feet would melt. Could he have been lying? I don't know what to believe anymore.
