I'm voting in person today, are you? Well, if you are voting in person today, here are a handful of tips to help keep you as safe as possible...
1. If possible, try to spend most of your waiting time outdoors, so you only go inside when you're about to vote.
2. Vote at a less busy time of day. Most people vote before and after work or on their lunch break. So, midmorning and midafternoon might be better. Also, don't forget to have a mask, chances are they will be required to enter.
3. Follow their social distancing rules. Try to stay at least six feet away from the people in line around you.
4. Bring hand sanitizer and after you vote, wash your hands.
5. Bring your own pen. If your polling place has touch-screen voting, you can use something like a Q-Tip or a stylus. Just remember your pen must have blue or black ink.
