Over a year ago, my son Caleb tore his ACL playing baseball. The kid I've watched and coached since he was 4-years old was side-lined and had to watch from the dugout. He was devastated and completely missed his Junior year of playing varsity baseball for his high school.
Well, after going to PT 2-3 times a week and working his butt off, Caleb is stronger than ever and he's back playing the sport he loves so much. But, there's more...
Yesterday, Caleb announced his commitment to play college baseball at Montreat College in North Carolina!
"I am excited to announce I will be continuing my academic and baseball career at Montreat College. I am so blessed to have gotten this opportunity and I want to thank everyone who has helped me get to this point. Go Cavs!"
We are so excited for Caleb, but how the heck am I going to handle my son moving to NC? LOL! Anyone else go through this? Looks like there will be quite a few road trips to watch him and visit. But if you have any advice, I'm all ears!
