Hello! My name is Pike Taylor. You (hopefully) have heard me in the afternoons on Mix 105.1 in Orlando for the last two months, so I figured it was time to formally introduce myself to you here on the internet!
Before accepting the afternoon position at Mix 105.1 and moving to balmy Florida this past November, I spent the first 30 years of my life in possibly the coldest place on earth not named Antarctica: Fargo, North Dakota. Actually, even Antarctica is warmer on some days. You may have seen our movie or the recent TV series on FX, but please don't think that's really what life in Fargo is like. There are far fewer wood-chipper related deaths than you'd think, and it's seriously a pretty cool place to live if you can handle sub-zero temps.

A little over a year ago I married my beautiful wife, Lauryn. We both share a passion for adventure and a desire to live life to the fullest (hence our cross-country move). Her dad has lived in Orlando for most of her life, so she is thrilled to be closer to him. We don't have any kids or pets yet, but I would bet that either/both of those things aren't too far off.
We tied the knot in Duluth, MN in August of 2019.
We do, however, have the coolest 2-year-old nephew in the world named Liam. He LOVES Mickey Mouse and the beach, so we can't wait for him to visit us in Orlando so he thinks we're super cool.

My hobbies include golf, having beers with the guys, and the occasional wager. Funny, all three of those things are enjoyed best on a golf course, which is where I spend most of my free time. My wife loves that about me. (That's heavy sarcasm). I am also a diehard Green Bay Packer fan and would absolutely donate both of my kidneys if Aaron Rodgers needed them.

I also have a strong passion for music, which is part of why I got into Radio. I even play guitar in a band called Low Standards with 4 of my best friends, one being my older brother. We write our own music and also cover some of my favorite bands like: Green Day, Weezer, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty, Third Eye Blind and of course my favorite band of all-time, Blink-182.

That's basically the starter-pack for getting to know me. I am an easy going guy who loves to joke around and have a good time, and I look forward to getting to know you a lot better in the future.
