My wife Lauryn and I have lived in downtown Orlando for the last 9 months, and we frequently visit Lake Eola on our walks. However, we'd never once been on one of their infamous swan boat rides! Since I'm out on "Pike's Big Adventure" Fueled by Sonny's BBQ, exploring all of the best attractions and experiences that Central Florida has to offer, that had to change.
The swan boat ride was the perfect inexpensive date night for us. We went in the middle of the week and at sunset, so it was easy to get right in. Normally they charge $15 per boat for a 30 minute rental, but we found a deal on Groupon for $8. Not bad at all.
It was a very peaceful night in Orlando, and the skyline looked so pretty at night. There were plenty of photo ops throughout the half our. One bonus was because you actually have to pedal to make the boat move, you're also getting a bit of a workout!
I totally recommend checking out the swan boat rides on Lake Eola if you're looking for an affordable, fun, IG post-worthy experience for a date night or with your family. We saw plenty of kids out on the boats having the time of their lives.
