You've probably seen it towering over Orlando while driving on I-4, but have you ever ridden it? The Orlando StarFlyer is an absolute monster of a ride, standing 450 feet tall in Icon Park. It is the world's tallest stand-alone swing ride, and it swings you around at over 45 miles per hour. I decided that I HAD to give it a shot for my next adventure, despite my dislike of heights and severe motion sickness.
It was a wild ride, to say the least. The sights were amazing. It was such a crazy feeling flying around at 450 feet while only strapped into a swing! For $12, the thrill is well worth the price.
