Now that the election is over, what the heck happens with all of those campaign signs? Well, according to FOX 35, they can be turned into electricity! How cool is that?
There's a cement factory in Plant City that recycles the signs and the metal stakes and turns them into power for their factory.
The City of Orlando has made it possible to recycle the signs, including their metal stakes, and give them new life. So, now that the election is over, it’s time to clean the streets and yards of those political signs and recycle them in Orange County now through November 22.
