The brand "Hidden Valley" has entered the fine jewelry arena. They are most commonly known for their ranch products, but that didn't stop them from creating a diamond ring made entirely of ranch and auctioning it off on Ebay for $12,500.

The company explained how it was possible to make an actual diamond out of ranch, "The 2 carat round brilliant cut diamond was expertly created by a professional diamond maker in a lab by heating Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning to 2,500 degrees, and then crushing the output beneath 400 tons of pressure, taking five months total to create. After being polished to perfection, the eye-catching diamond was then set in a 14K white gold band with “HVR LVR” engraved on the inside."

The ranch diamond garnered plenty of interest, too. There were 79 bids on it before the winning $12,500 bid. Hidden Valley says they are donating all of the money to the Feeding America organization.
