During their ongoing press tour for Part 1 of Wicked, Ariana and Cynthia Erivo sat down for Vanity Fair’s Lie Detector Test segment, during which Ari answered some long-circling rumors... specifically, regarding what procedures she’s had done to her face. Well as it turns out, according to the starlet, the answer… is pretty much nothing.
FYI, more than happy to finally address these inquiries, Ari told her Wicked costar, “Thank goodness,” when the list of questions about adjustments to her physical appearance came up.
She then denied reports that she’d had a nose job, and breast implants, saying “No, can you imagine?,” as well as a facelift, noting “No, not yet—I’m open.” All of which were concluded to be truthful, to Ari’s excitement. “This is the best day of my life. Take that, you YouTube people,” she expressed.
It was also a no to a fox eye lift, though she did admit to discovering the procedure from people thinking she did, “and I said thank you,” she added. When asked about a chin implant, Ari responded, “How do they do that?” And once again these answers were also verified as true by the lie detector test.
Ariana did confirm, “I’ve had fillers in various places, and Botox. But I stopped like four years ago. And that is the extent.” That said, while Ari’s face is free of chin implants and reconstructive surgeries, she did note she’s “in full support of all people who do these things. Work. Whatever makes women, men, non-gender conforming people feel beautiful should be allowed. Why do we care?”
Asking Erivo to keep the questions coming, Cynthia asked Ariana if she's had a BBL (a Brazilian butt lift for those who don’t know). "Get the f*** out of here," Grande replied before jokingly adding, “Yes." When Erivo followed up wondering if she ever would consider the procedure, a less giggly Grande answered, "No. That wouldn't work for me. I don't think that's my thing. And I'm OK with that, you know?”
Not the first time she’s spoken on the topic of cosmetic procedures, Ariana previously chatted about filler and botox last year with Vogue, getting emotional and saying, “I stopped in 2018 cause I just felt so, too much. I just felt like hiding, you know? Didn’t expect to get emotional. For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me. And now I feel like maybe it’s not.”
