However, despite the happy news, Nick in the announcement Nick revealed that a few issues arose during their newborn's arrival.

"We are proud to announce that our baby has officially arrived," the BSB lead singer tweeted. ”But as a parent knows all to very well, sometimes things don’t turn out the way you plan it. We have been experiencing some minor complications but things are looking a little better after the first night.”

Carter, also kept the flow of communication open in Instagram, sharing a photo of himself looking visibly distressed in a surgical cap and scrubs. Captioning the somber image, “Yes I’m a believer. I ask god to give us strength to protect mommy and baby.”

The next day, Nick went back to Twitter with an update, writing “Ok. So everything is looking better but we’re not out of the woods yet. We have to stay in the hospital one more night. But Daddy and Mommy are watching baby like a Hawk. Thank you again for all your love and support. We see you.”

We love to hear any good news, even if it’s in small doses. Also did anyone else peep that he capitalized Hawk, and overthinking about how he might have dropped the baby’s name in there, and that it wasn’t an autocorrect sitch.

Carter and Kitt, 37, we’re already parents to Odin, their 5 year-old son, and 18-month-old daughter Saoirse. So if baby No. 3’s name is actually Hawk, it might just be the least odd name of the three.

The couple announced in January that they were expecting the latest addition to their family after “multiple miscarriages” throughout the years. Actually after Lauren's first two pregnancies, the parents had accepted that they’d never be able to conceive naturally again. In fact, Lauren didn't even know she was pregnant until she was five-and-a-half months along. She and Carter had even been talking about possibly getting a surrogate to expand their family.

Telling People, “I didn’t have any symptoms; I didn’t have anything indicating that I was pregnant,” Kitt told the publication. “One day I just — I felt something move in my body and I said, ‘Nick, there’s something not right. I think I need to go to the doctor. Something’s wrong with me.’”

Just a few days before their newest bundle of joy had arrived, Carter posted a picture of himself cuddling Kitt’s third trimester bump. Alongside it he wrote, “3 babies, were so excited,#growing family. #fatherhood. #comingsoon.”
