Pike is going on a cruise and is terrified for this reason

This weekend my wife Lauryn and I will be celebrating America’s independence by getting on a big giant boat and floating over to the Bahamas with frozen cocktails in our hand. Yes, we’re going on a cruise.

While there’s a lot that I’m excited for (the endless amounts of food, the beaches, the on-board casino, and the aforementioned cocktails), there is one thing I’m not looking forward to: motion sickness.

I’ve had a lifelong struggle with motion sickness. Things that make me dizzy include (but are not limited to): Roller coasters, sitting in the back seat, swing sets, laying on my back, nodding in agreement, and boats.

People tell me that it’ll be fine because “the boat is so big you hardly can tell it’s moving.” This is sort of comforting, but even if only 1 out of every 100 people get sick, chances are I’m going to be the one.

I’ll do my best to enjoy myself and I’m sure we’ll have a blast, but if you have ANY suggestions at all that might help, please let me know in the comments or DM @piketaylorradio on IG or Twitter.
