
Kirk Baily, an actor known for playing the role of camp counselor Kevin "Ug" Lee on all 26 episodes of Nickelodeon sitcom "Salute Your Shorts" has died. He was 59.
According to TMZ, Baily's family confirmed he passed away over the weekend due to lung cancer.

The actor was diagnosed with the disease six months ago, the outlet noted.
"Salute Your Shorts" aired on Nickelodeon for 2 seasons between July 1991 and September 1992. Other stars included Danny Cooksey, Erik MacArthur and Blake Soper.
Baily's acting credits include appearances in "NYPD Blue," "Melrose Place," and "Judging Amy." More recently he had success as a voice actor with credits on "Trigun," "Cowboy Bebop," "Despicable Me 2," "Hotel Transylvania," "Frozen," and "Big Hero 6," among others.
His most recent voice credit was on the 2020 film "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run."
Baily continued to work until the last few days of his life, TMZ noted.
