
If you're a parent and you've had to suddenly become a teacher at home, we've learned the hard way that education isn't easy. But as a state, how are we doing? A new study from Wallet Hub ranked all 50 states from the most to least educated places in the U.S.
The rankings are based on 18 different factors including the percentage of people with high school diplomas, college degrees, graduate degrees, school quality, graduation rates and test scores.
Based on all of that, the 10 most educated states in the U.S. are:
Massachusetts
Maryland
Connecticut
Vermont
Colorado
Virginia
New Jersey
New Hampshire
Minnesota
Washington
The 10 least educated are:
West Virginia
Mississippi
Louisiana
Arkansas
Alabama
Kentucky
Oklahoma
Nevada
South Carolina
New Mexico
