If you had to ask Vanilla Ice what his favorite decade is, we're sure you could guess that it'd be the 1990s— for obvious reasons.

Mr. "Ice Ice Baby" himself admits to the '90s having a "tight grip" on him and confirms that it is, indeed, the "greatest decade ever"... well at least, until computers took over. Actually, the rapper felt computers "ruined the world," but tomayto/tomahto.

While on set for the "Baby Got Buns" video— his parody remix of Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back"— he spoke candidly with TMZ on the incomparable '90s reign. "We have to realize that in 2004, the iPhone came out," he began. We're gonna stop you right here. The first iPhone was announced on January 9, 2007 and released on June 29, 2007.

Back to Ice. "What's happened in pop culture since 2004 to '21, nothing. It's the lost generation. Pop culture's dead. The last generation where pop culture was alive where you had fashion that actually mimicked the music and it kinda spread like wildfire [...] they can't come out with anything cool since the '90s," he continued.

Now, we love nostalgia just as much as the next person, but to say that "pop culture is dead" simply isn't true. Ice went on to compare the reign of Air Jordan vs. LeBron James' sneaker collection and casually mention that his twenty-something children think he's a "cool dad." *cue Mean Girls*

If Ice could bring back anything from the '90s, the rapper would bring back Blockbuster. "There's something about getting out of the cyber world and the journey and making it a whole thing," he stated. Check out his rant above.
