The exclusive station features all your favorite boy band Christmas favorites including tracks from Backstreet Boys’ A Very Backstreet Christmas album like, “Christmas in New York,” “The Christmas Songs,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and more. Hosted by all five original members of the group — Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson — the station has everything you need to make this holiday season “Larger Than Life.”
“We’ve always wanted to do one [a Christmas album] and during COVID, we finally had the time,” Richardson tells Audacy of the guys’ releasing their very first Christmas project in 2022. “I think the timing worked out perfectly because we’re all fathers now, these songs mean more to us now.. When we’re in the vocal booth, or we’re putting the songs that we wanted to record together, we’re thinking of our kids, we’re thinking of our fans.”
With each song reminding them of their own special holiday memories, the guys shared some of their favorites including stand-out gifts from their kids over the years.
“I got a card that was a picture of the holiday season that said ‘Merry Christmas, I love you Daddy,' and all the kids signed it from school,” said a sentimental Nick Carter before McLean shared he got a custom ID bracelet from his daughters.
“My son went on NikeID and created me some Air Force Ones, like special edition — from son to Dad,” Littrell shared of Bailey, his 21-year-old son.
While they’ve been the proud recipients of some impressionable gifts, the guys admitted their own gift-giving skills have shown some room for improvement… well, everyone’s but Kevin’s. “I pretty much buy awesome gifts, what can I say?” Richardson laughed.
