When Headlines Are Way Too Punny

Welcome to spooky season!! As some of you may know, I just celebrated a Birthday. For my Birthday we visited the Finger Lakes in New York.

If you are unfamiliar, become familiar because … WoW!

Not only is it gorgeous, it is full of hidden treasures. When traveling we love exploring, hiking, and eating good food. Lucky for us there were plenty of hiking trails with beautiful waterfalls and locally sourced food!

More on these things later….

As we were driving from Canandaigua to Aurora, we spotted a suspicious field of skeletons. It was a little too bizarre to just drive by so we decided to pull a U -ey and EXPLORE!

As we drove closer we realized that it wasn't just skeletons … it was a pumpkin patch, corn fields, a maze, scare houses, etc. We immediately stopped the car, jumped out and met a sweet woman. She explained that her brother was the one who created the entire attraction! Maybe it was my absolute excitement or maybe she was just over my chatter because before we knew it we were walking "acres of Halloween", in complete AWE!

Haunted Housel on CR4. It is a local business that over the years has really taken off. It is only a $5.00 admission fee and parking is free. If you are from Orlando you know that Halloween attractions charge an arm and a leg…. (mauahahahaah)

Based on recent studies, most Halloween attraction admission fees run from 20-30 dollars. Clearly this is a real deal!

Included you'll find a fun video that is linked to my IG. If you find yourself in or around the Finger Lakes this time of the year… Haunted Housel on CR 4 is a must see! I encourage visitors to give extra if you are able. The memories are certainly worth it and we gotta keep this gem arounds for years and years to come!
