Why art is good for kids!!
Since my kids were little I have always enrolled them in art class. From school art to art camps in the summer…. Art has always been a great way from them create! They love doing art solo or even in group settings. Now 21 and 18, the girls and I still enjoy doing art together. We even enjoy signing up for weekly art classes.
Through taking art classes, we have learned so many techniques. Here’s a fun fact: My entire house does not have one piece of art that that my kids haven’t created! I have framed some of my favorite pieces and my other favorite pieces are boxed and stored in the garage. I have run out of wall space for now as my hallways and the stairwell are lined with their one of a kind pieces! Priceless if you ask me!
Art has the ability communicate information and is found in everything! The girls and I have been exploring many art forms for many years. What is really exciting is that there's so much more to discover!
