It's one of the most famous kisses in movie history, but you won't see Selma Blair and Sarah Michelle Gellar reenacting it anytime soon. Unless it's done 2020 style.

The pair then told fans they were going to recreate the scene, "right here" as Blair said. As a soft piano track plays in the background lulling the viewer into a sense of romance, Blair and Gellar lean in for a kiss.
Then, because it's 2020, the duo smack their heads into a plexiglass screen preventing them from locking lips.
It's a perfect 2020 version of the Cruel Intentions kiss as Gellar then turned to the camera saying, "stay safe, MTV. And 2020, end soon."
