It’s official, Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun are engaged!

The duo took to social media to share the news and celebrate the next big step in their relationship. On March 27, Lavigne said “yes,” as Mod Sun got down on one knee in front of the Eiffel Tower with a heart-shaped diamond in hand. Seems like things aren’t so complicated for this sk8er girl anymore.
On Instagram, Avril posted a series of romantic images of the duo getting engaged in Paris. She wrote, “Oui! Je t’aime pour toujours Dimanche. 27.
Mars. 2022.” Mod Sun also shared images from the beautiful day and wrote a sincere message to his bride-to-be. “The day we met I knew you were the one. Together forever til our days are done. I had a dream where I proposed in paris. I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it. I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes. You’re too beautiful for my words to describe. I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said 'will you marry me?' + she said 'yes.’” He concluded, “I love you Avril ❤️.”
The couple first started dating back in February 2021. Shortly after going public with their relationship, Mod Sun was gushing over her in multiple interviews. In September he told Entertainment Tonight, “She's been my biggest supporter, which is not something I've ever really had in my life before, is someone supporting me that much, that I'm, like, that close with.” “So to have her in my life, supporting me and helping push me, and she's the first one that I play like music to now."
