This week on Spotlight On Maryland, Gina Crash spoke with the Co-CEO's and President's of Ashley Addiction Treatment, Dr. Greg Hobelmann and Alex Denstman, MBA. Alex and Greg both have personal experience with addiction and recovery and are passionate about using their personal experiences to ensure that Ashley creates the best possible care environment for recovering patients and their families. They both talked about life beyond addiction.
Greg and Alex shared the history of Ashley Addiction Treatment that began in 1983 as Father Martin's Ashley. Ashley is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit. The main campus is located in Havre de Grace and also has outpatient centers in Bel Air and Elkton. Almost 21 million Americans have at least one addiction, yet only 10% of them receive treatment. Alex and Greg discussed this as well as increased alcohol consumption during the pandemic.
