Amanda Bynes is back on social media and speaking out.
Less than two weeks after filing to end her nine-year conservatorship, the 35-year-old actress took to her new Instagram account to share a message with her fans.

"What's up Instagram. Amanda Bynes here,” the “What a Girl Wants” star said in a selfie video. “My court date is coming up in two weeks. I want to thank you all for your love and support. Peace out."
Bynes captioned the video by tagging several media outlets.
The former child star’s account features a photo of herself and partner Paul Michael in the profile and a bio that says, “check back for updates on new fragrance!”
In February, Bynes filed court documents to terminate both the conservatorship of her person and estate.
Her lawyer David A. Esquibias told People, "Amanda wishes to terminate her conservatorship. She believes her condition is improved and protection of the court is no longer necessary."
"Once the conservatorship is terminated, Amanda will be free to live her life as she chooses," Esquibias elaborated to E! News.
Bynes was placed under a conservatorship in August 2013 after several tumultuous incidents, and has since then had several stays at mental health facilities. One of those incidents included accidentally soaking her dog in gasoline while setting a neighbor’s driveway on fire, according to TMZ.
Bynes’ mother, Lynn, currently acts as her conservator.
In 2019, the "Hairspray" star received an associate's degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.
Her next court hearing is set for March 22.
