Let’s be honest, aside from the Fire Relief philanthropic efforts, and except from some undeniable standout moments *cough cough* Doechii, RAYE and Cynthia Erivo *cough cough* this year’s GRAMMYs was pretty much all about the pop girlies, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.

From Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan, to Billie Eilish and Charli XCX, the girly pops dominated this year’s ceremony, scooping up awards and slaying the stage.

Starting off with Sabrina Carpenter — While she’s working late, cause she’s a singer, Sabrina graced the GRAMMY stage early in the show with a performance that gave us old Hollywood hilarity. Then, with barely enough time to catch her breathe, Sabrina had to head back to the stage to accept the award for Best Pop Vocal Album (for which the nominees was a full female lineup btw). She also won Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Remixed Recording for “Espresso” and its (Mark Ronson x FNZ Working Late Remix).

And it didn’t stop there.

After her meteoric rise in 2024, Chappell Roan made her GRAMMY debut by bringing the “Pink Pony Club” to the Crypto.com Arena, dancing on the stage in her heels, where she belongs. She then went on to rightfully win the award for Best New Artist, using her speech to hold record labels accountable.

“I told myself that if I ever won a GRAMMY and got to stand up here before the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels in the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would offer a livable wage and health care, especially developing artists,” Roan expressed as the audience broke into cheers and applause.

Billie Eilish was actually the first pop girly to hit the GRAMMYs stage alongside her brother FINNEAS, for a performance of "BIRDS OF A FEATHER,” dedicated to her hometown of Los Angeles. Effortlessly and ethereally, Billie sang the hit on a makeshift wilderness set as flashes of childhood photos layered into the mountainous backdrop.

After taking over our summer, and then taking home three GRAMMYs including Best Pop Dance Recording for "Von Dutch,” Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Recording Package for BRAT, Charli XCX promised a performance that would get the crowd “upset,” but instead she just brought the party and cameos from Gabirette and Julia Fox.

And if that wasn’t enough to fill up your girly pop cup, Lady Gaga, who won the GRAMMY for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside Bruno Mars for their collab “Die With A Smile,” gave us a taste of the MAYHEM she has planned for us, with a preview of her next single “Abracadabra”. Taylor Swift showed up to dance to every performance (of course) and present Beyoncé with the GRAMMY for Best Country Album for COWBOY CARTER. And Miley Cyrus, in her "sickening" custom Alaia gown, presented the trophy for Record of the Year to Kendrick Lamar for “Not Like Us.”
