After many “shots” fired in his direction, Drake finally has something to celebrate, knocking Kendrick Lamar’s GNX off the top spot on the Billboard 200, with the PARTYNEXTDOOR collab album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.

Lamar’s GNX moved to No. 3 on the list, trailing Sabrina Carpenter’s, also former chart leader, Short n’ Sweet, which claimed the No. 2 spot following its deluxe reissue featuring a Dolly Parton remix of “Please Please Please,” plus four new tracks.
Earning the equivalent of 246,000 album units in the United States for the March 1, 2025-dated chart, according to Luminate, $$$4U’s top spot marks PARTY’s very first No.1. As for Drake, it’s his 14th, tying him with JAY-Z and Taylor Swift for the most No. 1s among soloists in the nearly-69-year history of the chart. Overall, only The Beatles have more, with 19 No. 1s.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U is Drake’s third collab project to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the first being his 2015 collab with Future, What a Time to Be Alive, followed by his 2022 team up with 21 Savage, Her Loss.
The new March 1, 2025-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on February 25.
