In Kevin’s opinion, entering the world of muscle cars is both “untapped territory,” and an opportunity for us to change the conversation of our culture when talking car enthusiasts and talking about car lovers.”

Kevin continued, “As active lovers in this space, we felt that this was the way to open up a door, bring some attention and create a narrative that can hopefully keep going.”

Provoked by Tigger, Joey Wells was asked why his car looks “not the freshest,” which he hilariously and hastily “denounced,” adding “I’m killin’ it in the bug world," referring to his Volkswagen Beetle, which he has for sentimental reasons, admitting, “that was my very first car.”

Tigger moved on to Harry Ratchford, who according to him “had the heat,” to which Harry of course agreed, and Joey immediately protested. From there things got heated, as the expected witty banter and comedic blows ensued, but all in good fun course. We’d get into it, but honestly it’s a whole lot funnier if you hear it for yourself.

So, why don’t you go ahead and do that, but actually before you do, you’ve made it this far so we know you’re gonna be about it, so here’s the info you need.

Playing producer and star, Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew will offer a lighthearted look into the world of car collecting, as he and his crew aim to launch their own automotive club. Joining Hart are the rest of The Plastic Cup Boyz; John Clausell, Ron Everline, Spank Horton, Harry Ratchford and Joey Wells. Also set to be featured is Lucky Costa, from MotorTrend’s Hot Rod Garage, who will serve as the crew’s house mechanic, guiding them through muscle car builds, while contributing to a crash course on car culture.

With production already underway, the eight-episode, original automotive series is looking to launch sometime this fall exclusively on the MotorTrend App, which for those unaware (aka us until 2 minutes ago) is the leading subscription service dedicated specifically to the world of motoring. So be on the lookout. Okay now you can press play.
