Nicki Minaj still has quite a lot to say about Megan Thee Stallion. After the first jab Megan threw Nicki’s way with “HISS,” followed by Minaj’s response with diss track “Bigfoot” and a steady stream of spiteful tweets, Nicki isn’t quite finished throwing shade, as seen during her recent chat with Joe Budden.

Joining the former rapper on a stream, Nicki accused Megan of seeking sympathy as a victim of violence and refuted that she has encouraged her fans to disrespect or desecrate Megan’s late mother’s gravesite.
“It’s so obvious,” said Minaj. “She wanted a Rihanna moment so bad.” When asked to specify what she meant by that, Nicki didn’t really explain, saying, “You gon google,” before continuing on.
That said, taking into account Nicki’s next statements, odds are she was referring to the general uproar and sympathy Rihanna received after the Chris Brown 2009 assault.
“Rihanna never would milk…” Minaj said. “You could tell she couldn’t wait to try to move on with her life. And then people even bashed her for not milking it.”
“Rihanna knows she was a superstar with or without controversy,” Minaj continued. “She’s loved, with or without controversy, sympathy.”
During the chat with Joe, Nicki also speculated that Megan’s management company, Roc Nation, launched a smear campaign against her, claiming they paid people $250 to tweet that they don’t like her while also employing bots and ads to promote “HISS.” Noting the beef which might have started with Megan’s words, has now expanded to involve “a bunch of different machines.”
“Between the YouTube bots and the Twitter ads and the paid for TikToks and the paid for tweets to the point where people got they little $250 for the tweet to say something bad about Nicki Minaj and the next day was like, ‘B**** yeah, I’m listening to ‘Big Foot.’ Why would [Roc Nation] want to prove everything I’ve been saying true?” she said.
“This is a dialogue between me, the machine and a bunch of different machines having to come together constantly using different people. When one fails, let’s go somewhere else and try. It never works but that’s the point that I wanted the world to see and that it’s going to be sympathy again and it’s going to be nonsense again.”
