Ricki Lake is showing off that long-awaited engagement ring.
The 52-year old former talk show host, “Hairspray” star, and documentary filmmaker (“Sweetening the Pill”) took to Instagram on Monday to tell the world that “he put on a ring on it!” Who’s he? Lawyer Ross Burningham.
She wrote alongside the photo, "Well, friends, he put a rign on it. #engaged to my magnificent king."
Actually, the two made the commitment back in February, when Lake proclaimed, “Friends, I'm so so so excited to share some good news. I'm engaged!" She continued on to say, "This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful."
She gushed a little more floridly in her recent post, saying, "I am officially the happiest woman in the land. My dear Ross, I choose you today and everyday!”

And if that wasn’t enough lovey-dovey for you, Lake also told People, "Ross and I literally pinch ourselves that we have found each other at this time in our lives. Both of us, newly empty-nesters, we feel as if we are kids again. We are filled with gratitude and joy for what is to come."
Lake was twice married before - to Rob Sussman in 1994 and then to Christian Evans in 2012. The “third time’s the charm” maxim couldn’t happen to a nicer woman.
