Simone Biles does not care what online commenters think about how she did her hair for her big wedding day.
The Olympic gold medalist wed husband Jonathan Owens, with her public announcement of the nuptials coming April 22 via her own Instagram.
Biles shared a number of photos of the happy couple and their court house ceremony. She wore a tiered gown and had her hair in a high ponytail.
Most fans were quick to congratulate the happy pair and comment on their style, but some came straight for how Biles chose to wear her hair. Some even trying to claim she wore a wig on the big day and said her edges were unkempt.
The hair haters brought out Biles supporters as well. “Yall really coming for Simone Biles’s hair at her wedding. She is a young millionaire, a great dynamist, and married to the love of her life. What you got???” a user tweeted.
Biles saw the online fracas and had to comment herself.
“i think they also forget I live in HOUSTON TEXAS & I sweat those out!! soon as we stepped outside for pics. but they can keep complaining idc idc idc,” she wrote on Twitter.
Biles and Owens announced their engagement in February 2022.
