Should Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian’s rumored romance blossom further, we wouldn't be surprised to see it satirically pilloried on "Saturday Night Live" at some point. But so far, several "SNL" cast members seem to be all about it.
During the American Museum of Natural History's 2021 Museum Gala in Manhattan on Thursday night, a few SNL-ers offered their positive takes on the star pairing while traipsing the red carpet.

Kenan Thompson told People, "I mean, you've got to be happy for love, I guess. If it's love! They look like they're having a good time… I'm always happy when he's happy."
While Thompson flat-out suggested love, Bowen Yang, while similarly happy for his cast pal, was a little more careful. After all, neither Davidson nor Kardashian have made any official statement.
"I don't know what the nature of the friendship is," said Yang, "but it seems like they're having a good time hanging out."
And Chris Redd probably had the funniest and most social-media aware comment of all: "Pete and Kim? Damn, Pete. Damn! I hope they're happy. They're wearing matching outfits, so I think they're on their way. [At least] that's what Instagram told me."
Since Kardashian, 41, hosted "SNL" last month, the rumors and paparazzi snaps have revved up. There was the shared kiss with Davidson, 28, in an SNL sketch, then the vacation rollercoaster ride, and numerous dinner dates in Staten Island and Manhattan.
Then a trip to Palm Beach and, well, this is looking like more than friendly hangs. A People source sure thought so: "Pete is back in N.Y.C. now, but Kim had a great time with him in Palm Springs. They were very affectionate and seem more serious. He's very sweet to Kim. She's smitten."
The two even celebrated Davidson's birthday at Kris Jenner's home the other day.
After near seven years of marriage, Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West last February. The exes also share North, 8, Saint, 5½, Chicago, 3½, and Psalm, 2.
West himself doesn’t seem to be ready to let go though, as on the “Drink Champs” podcast earlier this month he said, "SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off. And I ain't never even seen the papers, we're not even divorced."
