· A frightening situation unfolded over the weekend when a woman allegedly fired multiple shots at the Beverly Hills home of Rihanna while she was inside with her family.
· Authorities say the suspect, 35 year old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, fired roughly ten rounds from an AR-15 style rifle while parked across the street in a white Tesla.
· One of the bullets reportedly struck the exterior wall of the house.
· Rihanna, who lives there with ASAP Rocky and their three children, was inside at the time but was not injured.
· Ortiz was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department and booked on attempted murder.
· Her bail has been set at more than 10 million dollars.
· Investigators are still working to determine a motive, but Ortiz had posted a strange message about Rihanna on Facebook on February 23rd.
· In the post she addressed Rihanna directly and appeared to accuse the singer of speaking about her behind her back.
· Ortiz also posted a video directed at Cardi B, claiming she looked better than the rapper and taunting her while speaking to a mirror.
· In an unusual twist, Ortiz previously ran a YouTube channel where she described herself as a religious influencer and kept what she called a “Praying Woman’s Journal.”
· Court records show Ortiz has a prior history of arrests including domestic violence, careless driving, and violating pretrial release conditions.
