The inspiration behind “Sex and the City” has put the show’s main debate to bed.
Big (business man) or Aidan (carpenter)? Fans debated which one of Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) boyfriends was the real one for her. Now Candace Bushnell, who authored the columns that inspired the series, has given her thoughts.
She chose neither of the guys!
Bushnell chose Harry Goldenblatt, who becomes another character’s, Charlotte (Kristin Davis), husband.
“When people ask me if I’m Team Big or Team Aidan, I loudly proclaim my love for Harry Goldenblatt,” the author tweeted.
The tweet has been liked nearly four thousand times with a good number of users praising Bushnell’s selection.
“The bald Jewish men of America thank you,” author and journalist Jason Diamond replied.
