We love it when celebs keep it 100%. So obviously we’re very much here for Meghan Trainor and Kelly Clarkson getting real about their “peach fuzz.” During her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Meghan and Kelly bonded over the facial razor beauty routine Trainor previously shared on TikTok.

After Clarkson noted that, “Everyone knows that you like to keep it real on social media and life in general,” she asked Meghan to explain what she is doing in the clip. Trainor, joked, “Oh, I’m shaving my beard, my peach!” And after they playfully poked fun at Trainor for cutting herself during the process, Clarkson said, “People don’t talk about this. Let’s talk about it.”
“I’m fuzzy wuzzy,” Trainor added, as she cradled her chin.
Clarkson noted that women grow “peach fuzz” on their faces the older they get. “Literally, I’m like…I am a peach,” Kelly related. “And I’m blonde, so then when I go in the sun, it looks like I'm a Twilight vampire because I glisten, my beard will glisten.”
Understanding Clarkson’s struggles as a blonde herself, Trainor recalled, “In the ‘Lips Are Movin'’ music video, they were like, ‘We're gonna do a close-up on your lips.’ I was like, ‘I have a mustache. Why did no one tell me?’”
Learning her lesson, Meghan admitted that since then, “On big important days, when I know we're doing a music video, I will shave the night before or the day of,” she said.
Clarkson and Trainor continued on for a bit longer comically addressing their “beards” and ways of upkeep before Clarkson conceded, “At least it’s blonde.” To which Trainor agreed and semi-sarcastically replied, “We’re lucky.”
