In March Caitlyn Jenner took the stage at The Masked Singer and surprised everyone as she was the woman behind the Phoenix costume singing Kesha’s hit song, “TikTok.”
However, on April 6, Kesha finally got around to watching the performance and shared her experience in a duet video on TikTok… the app. Let’s just say the Popstar doesn’t have a great poker face.
As Caitlyn takes on “TikTok” Kesha watches and visibly cringes throughout the video. Attempting to hide behind her oversized sequined and feathered jacket, Kesha isn’t holding back about how she felt about Caitlyn’s rendition. The singer wrote, "Live for this cover and live for this outfit…But I mean I have to go....”
Unfortunately, Jenner was eliminated from the competition after the performance. But for Caitlyn, she felt she got everything she wanted from the experience, even though Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner couldn’t understand her desire to take part in the reality competition series.
Jenner told E! News, “ Their first reaction was, 'Dad why are you doing that?’ And I said, 'Why not? I'm doing nothing else. I need a challenge. I want to try something new.' And they go, 'Dad, you're crazy.' So, obviously, I had their complete support."
