TMZ reports that Vanderpump, 61, was riding her horse in Los Angeles on Sunday when she was bucked off. An eyewitness told the outlet that the former cast member of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” flew over the horse’s head and landed on her back.

According to a report from People, the fall fractured her leg in two places. Page Six reports that the break occurred close to her ankle, and that Vanderpump also sustained bruising on her back.

The “Vanderpump Rules” star was reportedly transported to the hospital by ambulance, where she was expected to undergo surgery. Page Six reported that her husband, restauranteur Ken Todd, followed closely behind.

Vanderpump, whose love of animals has been documented closely over the years on her two Bravo reality shows, has not commented publicly on the alleged incident.

In November, Vanderpump welcomed her first grandchild, Theodore. In what was perhaps a sweet nod to her own beloved grandmother, Nanny Kay, Vanderpump shared on social media that she gave herself the moniker Nanny Pinky.

“Thank you Pandy and Jason for making me a Nanny Pinky,” she gushed on Instagram alongside a photo of herself with the newborn. Her daughter Pandora Todd Sabo and husband Jason Sabo introduced their first child on Pandora's social media accounts, writing that he was “6lb 7oz of pure delicious joy.”
