Up until recently all we’ve known about the film starring Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Wilde, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and more, was thanks to a vague synopsis from Warner Brothers.
"Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles), who are lucky to be living in Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families."
Then last week when those steamy stills were released after a preview of the film, at CinemaCon, we found ourselves anxiously waiting for days for just a bit more —and rightfully so. Well now the wait is over, as the chilling trailer has finally dropped and there’s A LOT to unpack. Most important of which is Harry EFFING Styles.
As it first seems Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) have a perfect marriage, which includes a beautiful home, chic wardrobe, classy dinner parties with flowing booze, and several steamy sex scenes.
As the synopsis goes on to state, ”Life is perfect, with every resident’s needs met by the company. All they ask in return is unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause."
But things aren’t always as they seem…
“When cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive facade, Alice can't help questioning what they're doing in Victory, and why. Just how much is Alice willing to lose to expose what’s really going on in paradise?”
Well were sold just from the synopsis alone, but then add in Harry Styles and Florence Pugh and well we’re just about ready to sign over our souls to Victory as well. And according to Twitter, we’re not the only ones. Don’t Worry Darling premieres in theaters only on September 23. Check out the trailer above, and peep the thirsty tweets about Harry and Florence below.
