“I like spicy food,” ROSÉ said, making her love of spice be known. Though she did wonder how far she’d make it with the “Wings of Death,” adding, “But I don’t know if I like spicy spicy.”

Starting off with the “very cute” first wing, ROSÉ discussed her new solo single “APT” featuring Bruno Mars, explaining the meaning behind that track named after a traditional Korean drinking game called “aparteu” (“apartment” in English).

“It’s a Korean drinking game,” she said, sharing how the fun chanting aspect of the game is what makes her friends gravitate towards it, and what inspired her to write a song about it. ROSÉ also went on to explain the rules of the game, demonstrating with her hands, “one, two, three, four, five, six.. and whoever gets the top takes the shot.”

From there, the wings got spicier, and the questions kept coming. With ROSÉ answering Sean’s inquiries, delving into the best conditions for creativity, the hardworking dynamic of BLACKPINK, how the craft of singing includes both vocal technique and emotion, and explaining the difference between chest and head voice.

ROSÉ and Sean also discussed their affinity for human names for pets, Sean’s childhood dog’s name was Dave, ROSÉ’s was Toby, and her current “chic” dog is named Hank (after Tom Hanks).

As the heat continued to rise with each wing, and the two yapped a bit about fashion, the MET Gala, and Korean trends. The time came for ROSÉ’ to sample Da’ Bomb Beyond Insanity covered wing, which, unlike anyone that came before her, she had a delayed reaction, leading her to joke, “My tongue is built differently. It’s built different.”

Well, clearly not that different, because the infamous third to last wing in the lineup did amplify the singer’s already runny nose, had her chugging water, and frantically fiending for ice to put in her milk.

Feeling better after eating “some really good ice cream,” that “almost” helped her “forget about what just happened,” at least for a moment. Followed by some yelps of anguish and assistance from her stress-ball, ROSÉ was ready for the last dab experience of the  final wing,  but not before making a speech, “because I feel like this is going to kill me,” she joked,

Looking into the camera, she shared “Hank, I love you so much,” she said, soundtracked to a somber tune, as a photo of her dog appeared onscreen next to her. “I hope I survive this, but if I don’t ever see you again, I love you — just know that,” Adding, “And to my number one’s, I hope you like the album,” before taking a bite of the last wing in the lineup. Which she followed up with a doodle inspired by her experience with the wings of death.
