I've seen many Mix Facebook friends spending time staying at home physical distancing learning / brushing up on their cooking / baking skills. If you've been doing more cooking to pass the time, how about cooking some recipes from some of the
Best Chefs in Austin, while helping others who have been hit hard with COVID-19. This is what
Hands for Austin Restaurants is all about. Chefs from 10 Austin restaurants share their favorite recipes, and help guide you through a video to successfully prepare it in the comforts of your own kitchen. You get tasty recipes to try, learn some skills, and help others at the same time.

One Austin man, Richard Casteel, created Hands for Austin Restaurants with a GoFundMe campaign. A $25 donation gives you10 easy and tasty recipe videos from 10 different Austin chefs. Once you give, you will receive a password for access to the site, where videos will be released. Donations from the GoFundMe will be distributed to employees of the participating restaurants.
