They have found a solution to the problem of their packaging that is not recyclable today through household recycling streams causing most of the waste to end up in landfills. The partnership they have with TerraCycle allows consumers across the country to easily recycle the plastic bag waste from their homes at no charge. The recycling program is open to any interested person, school, ofice or community organization. Following the instructions on the TerraCycle program, participants may recycle. Submited packaging is cleaned and melted into hard plastic that may be remolded to make new recycled products. TerraCycle partnerships give products and packages a way to be recycled rather than ending up in a landfill or incinerated.
