The search for the next BIG TEX voice kicked off yesterday, on April Fool's day, but not a joke. Bob Boykin, who became the voice of BIG TEX in 2013, passed away last year (RIP). The first round of auditions are happening now until April 15th. Get your 'Howdy, Y'all' ready to fill those Big Boot and hat. 411 here! You could be heard as BIG TEX in September saying 'Howdy' to folks walking into the Texas State Fair. How Cool would that be?!!!!
