AHS is doing their own giving to the community during the global giving day, #GivingTuesdayNow, on Tuesday, May 5th from 10am-4pm to help unleash hope for pet owners in need across Austin by holding their first ever Pet Food Pantry Event. This event is made possible thanks to their amazing partners, Heritage Ranch by H-E-B , and an incredible donation from the Turner Family. If you or someone you know is struggling to provide food for beloved pets please sign up here to secure food for your dogs and/or cats.AHS is looking forward to serving at least 800 cats and dogs through this special day. Adoption: We have made significant changes to our adoption process in order to maintain safe social distance with adopters. This includes handling all adoptions by an appointment only. We still love our adopters; we just can’t have you browsing around the building right now! To adopt you must first contact us at adoption@austinhumanesociety.org or 512-685-0115 between the hours of Noon-7pm daily. Our team will walk you through our new matchmaking process and help you find the perfect new pet.
