About 3 hours northwest of Austin, dinosaurs used to roam free. Well, about 150 million years ago. But they did leave us a little reminder at Dinosaur Valley State Park-actual footprints left in limestone that you can see and feel! On top of that, there are beautiful hiking trails and overlooks. If you're looking for a weekend getaway, it's really cool!
