I've been following Lorde's blogs for awhile. When I least expect it, I'll see a heads up on Lorde's newest thoughts and shares. I started following her before the Solar Power Tour, and have always found her entries intriguing. She's got free and tortured, mixed with quirky and creative, wrapped up in lovin' vibes in her blogs. Like a '70s throwback that has some millennial upgrades thrown in the mix of Lorde.
Even though I'm quite a bit older than Lorde, I can relate to some of her Lorde-isms. Although it's been a long stretch since she thrown a blog out in the universe. When I got the email today, I was looking forward to finding out what Lorde is up too. She admitted she finally fixed her laptop to say hey!
Lorde recently wrapped up her Solar Power Tour with all that is love in the heart and soul. She even considered a spider almost landing on her face in the middle of the last show a good omen. With this in mind Lorde shares insights, phots oand even a punch recipe that sounds perfect on a Hot Central Texas day, which many will be coming soon!
Lorde had a party in December, which is the beginning of Summer in New Zealand. She shared this citrus yummy she was inspired by a post from Stissing House
1 cup gin
1/2 cup chartreuse
1 1/2 cup green tea
1/2 cup pineapple
3 cups soda water
1/2 cup citrus (lemon/grapefruit/lime)
Lots of fresh mint
Topped up with extra citrus as the night went on.
*Mix them all up in a punch bow & enjoy! I would imagine that is what you do. Lorde left that part to the imagination. - HR

Highlghting some of her favorite photos from the tour. Many of them taken by fans. It makes her appreciate herself in a different light. Seeing how others capture her and post the moments they caught of her during the Solar Power Tour. She's thankful for everyone who sings along. Pop songs are truly powerful when we all sing them together. There's quirky truth in that, especially when you think about the words of some or your favorite pop songs.
