The dedication is taking place in one of the Furbaby Friendliest cities in America .. AUSTIN! The dedication of the first-issue of the stamps is happening at Austin Pets Alive! APA! recently celebrated the 100,000th rescue - LOVE IN ACTION!
Honey Ted and I have an extra special place in our hearts for Austin Pets Alive! Not only for all the awesome work they do to find homes for furbabies. They go out of their way to help furbabies, and making sure their lives matter! This includes their Parvo Puppy ICU. The first in the nation where puppies with parvo, who would be euthanized, are provided care and rehabilitation.
Our Shih Tzu Rudy Roo is a perfect example of Austin Pets Alive! LOVE IN ACTION! He and his brother were dropped off at APA! with parvo. His brother, unfortunately didn't make it, but Rudy Roo is a little fighter, and became a #ParvoPuppySurvivor! Thanks to the wonderful folks at Austin Pets Alive taking the time, energy and funds to save him. This is one of the many areas that donations go to help Austin Pets Alive! operations. These donations help save many lives, just like Rudy Roo!
Rudy was adopted in June of 2019. He went from 4lbs to an 18lb Shih Tzu with a Roo when he wants to get your attention. Rudy Roo is getting ready to turn 4 on February 4, 2023!
