Summer is winding down, and many look forward to the cooler temperatures and colors that Fall brings. We've been pretty lucky in the ATX area this Summer of 2021 hasn't been as brutally hot with multiple triple digit days like years past. That being said, Fall is still a nice welcome of cooler temperatures, less mosquitoes and the changing of the colors. Besides just burnt orange - Hook'em!

Wednesday, September 22 is the start of Fall, but not much on leaves changing color in Central Texas. We'll need to wait until late October into November. This is where the Fall Foliage Prediction Map comes in handy. It's been known to be pretty accurate with the changing of the leaves across the country. It helps many who plan excursions just to see the wonderful eye candy Mama Nature gives to us.
