AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One final blast of wintry precipitation will potentially bring less than an inch of snow to the Austin area through the morning and early afternoon Thursday, before giving way to a weekend warm up with temperatures reaching the 60s by Monday.

A Winter Weather Advisory continues until 6PM Thursday...

Temperatures will rise to just near freezing, with snow tapering off early in the afternoon. Travel issues from earlier in the week will continue to cause issues, especially at night, until temperatures rise significantly above the freezing mark, likely Saturday.

Once the snowfall ends, that will be it for the wintry precipitation... temperatures will gradually warm Friday through the weekend, with the National Weather Service calling for spring-like weather next week.
