Taste & Flavour digital cookbook created by a British non-profit cooking school LIfe Kitchen. Written by Ryan Riley & Kimberley Duke. Their first thought when they heard COVID-19 is causing many to have loss of taste and smell.. What can we do to help?

They discovered that many who suffered COVID- related loss of tastes and smell did not want to eat certain foods with common ingredients included onions, garlic, meet and eggs. There were also foods that triggered smell distortions whether it was loss of or even smelling something that wasn't there. This can have a big negative effect both physically and mentally.

Life Kitchen uses 5 principles of taste and flavour they have taught more than 1,000 people with cancer to enjoy food again. Umami, smell, stimulating the trigeminal nerve, texture and layering flavour.
