October is Paste Month! Although any day of the month can include pasta in my home/ life . Here's a breakdown of each state's most popular pasta dish. One of my favs matches Texas. My hometown state Nebraska I was surprised. Tennessee is another of my favs.
Here are the most popular pasta dishes in the states I have lived in past to present:
Nebraska ; Manicotti Surprises me. My guess Spaghetti / Fettuccini
Texas: Spaghetti No BBQ?
Maryland: Squid Ink Pasta - I have never had it, and surprised it wasn't crab
Florida: Lobster Mac 'n Cheese I would have thought Grouper.
Louisiana: Spaghetti Surprises me crawfish isn't involved.
Tennessee: Fettuccine Alfredo Yummy...I would have thought Spaghetti.
Texas: Spaghetti Lived in Waco for a year, and now in Austin close to 16!
