Have you heard of Austin being the undateable city? Referring to those who refuse to grow-up, settle down or have a proper date.
A proper date? I'm not sure I know what that is myself. Being married to honey Ted almost 20 years, and dated / lived together 9 years before marriage. Our first date was ,,,, well actually ... we never really had a first date. I met him at a bar almost 30 years ago, when we were babies, during a quarter draw night. From there we ran into each other places and hung out with friends, which ended up into dating ... living together ...marriage.
I can't say we try to plan 'proper dates', even now. Which really isn't all that bad. Most times it's not what I'm doing, but who I'm doing it with ... my honey Ted. I enjoy the time being together.
