Hey y'all! Preparations and creations are in the works for The Surreal Garden with Ion Art at the Zilker Botanical Garden again this year. The photo above is an amazing neon creation in progress by Sharon Keshishian with Carlos Menchu (right) and Junior Portocarrero (top). Sharon is a co-founder with her husband Greg of Ion Art. She is one of the few female neon benders in the industry. This is an inside look at the beautiful neon butterfly that will spread it's wings in the Zilker Botanical Garden soon.
Due to weather, The Surreal Garden VIP Night on April 6 has become the VIP Finale night on Sunday, April 16! Also April 7 was canceled because of the weather. Saturday, April 8 The Surreal Garden Weekend kicks off! The butterfly is just one of many pieces that will be featured. Another beauty is the Toucan. It's the first neon created by the talented Ion Art crew for this year's neon in nature experience in the garden. Get tickets here!
