There is voting for 7 Humane Hero Dog categories: Law Enforcement and Detection, Service, Therapy, Military, Search and Rescue, Guide/ Hearing and Shelter Dogs. The winning dog from each category goes to a star-studded American Humane Hero Dog Awards gala in Palm Beach on November 11, and one special pup becomes the 2022 American Humane Hero Dog.
